My Owner Died.
Mingo was born about September 2, and weighs about 50-60 lbs. He is just adorable, just one of those ultimately sweet, soft, dogs. He can't imagine why his life was turned upside down and he ended up in an up state shelter where he spent several months because he was intimidated by all the noise and hid in a corner. A wonderful staff person at that shelter decided he just wasn't going to be chosen there so she was looking around and found us. He was cute! And all she could say was nice things about him so we said we'd take him. He was a little cautious at first, but slowly wagging and not hiding in a corner so that was a good start. Well, now he is happy as a clam, loves the other dogs and is having a ball here. Someone is going to be very happy that the shelter staff and we went out of our way to save this wonderful boy! He did well on the three hour car ride here.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $250.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, a 4.5# bag of Science Diet food, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
Each Joyful Rescues pet has been thrown away at least once. Pets are not disposable just because your life has changed.
